Our story begins with Marcylle Combs, who entered the world of home care in 1985 as a young nurse eager to make a difference. Over the years, Marcylle worked in nearly every role within a home care agency, gaining invaluable insights into the industry's inner workings and challenges. Her dedication extended beyond her agencies, as she became a respected advocate, serving on key committees to advance the interests of home care and hospice. Recognizing a need for tailored resources and training, Marcylle founded Foundation Management Services in 1995, creating a platform to deliver outstanding support and education to agencies across the industry.
Under Marcylle’s visionary leadership, Foundation Management Services evolved into a trusted resource, known for its expertise and innovative solutions. In June 2019, the organization was rebranded as MAC Legacy, signifying a new chapter while staying true to the values and commitment that built its reputation. A cornerstone of MAC Legacy’s success is its tenured team, many of whom worked alongside Marcylle in managing her own agencies, gaining decades of real-world experience. This expertise allows MAC Legacy to provide clients with actionable insights and proven strategies, mirroring the success Marcylle achieved during her 30 years of agency ownership. Today, MAC Legacy remains steadfast in its mission to empower home care and hospice providers with exceptional products, services, and unwavering support.
