Achieving Success: RCD Lessons Learned

The Medicare Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) survived the COVID-19 pandemic and has now expanded to Oklahoma beginning December 1, 2023. The original demonstration is set to end on May 31, 2024, but considering the success to this point, many believe it will continue and further expand to other states. Most agencies in RCD states have implemented processes to ensure success with RCD, with many of those agencies selecting Pre-claim Review (PCR) initially and opting to stay with that selection. This webinar will explore operational pitfalls to avoid and provide tips to help refine processes for better efficiency. We will also discuss some lessons learned throughout the demonstration and strategies to achieve success and avoid claim denials or non-affirmations.
