Requirements for Successful Completion:
To receive contact hours for this continuing education activity, the participant must:
- Sign-in on the attendance sheet
- Be present for the entire activity
- Complete and submit the Activity Evaluation and the Certificate of Successful Completion
Once successful completion has been verified, the “Certificate of Successful Completion” will be awarded for 1.5 contact/clock hours.
The learning outcome for this educational activity is to enhance the knowledge of home health professionals including administrators, clinical managers, nurses, and other staff in regulatory compliance. This information will equip the learner with the knowledge and skills to prepare for all types of surveys. The learner will also gain knowledge of revisions and additional interpretive guidance that have been incorporated into the Conditions of Participation. Measurement of success will be evidenced by the learner’s self-reported achievement on the Provider-Directed Evaluation Tool.

Explanation: MAC Legacy Accredited Provider of continuing education protects learners from commercial bias and marketing by ensuring that all decisions related to the planning, faculty selection, delivery, and evaluation of accredited education is made without any influence or involvement with owners and employees of an ineligible company. Ineligible companies are those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients. All individuals who have control of educational content and education, such as planners and presenters/authors/content reviewers, must disclose the presence or absence of a relevant financial relationship relative to this activity. Prior to these individuals assuming their roles in the education process, MAC Legacy Accredited Provider identifies and mitigates relevant financial relationships. The name of the individual with relevant financial relationships along with the name of the ineligible company and nature of the relationship is disclosed to the learner prior to the start of the educational activity.
