The current State Operations Manual (SOM) has been updated as of March 15, 2024, to bring the SOM into conformance with several final rules that amended the Home Health Conditions of Participation. The survey protocol and interpretive guidance are now incorporated into one manual. Survey protocols are clearly explained, Level 1 tags have been updated and additional interpretive guidance provided.
