Mastering the OASIS Functional Assessment Items

Accurate documentation of the OASIS functional items is critical for capturing the patient’s ability or lack of ability to safely perform the tasks that affect their daily life. Since the addition of the OASIS GG0130 and GG0170 items, there has been confusion surrounding the guidance and how, or if, the items compare to the M1800 functional items. This session will take a deep dive into the functional item guidance and look at some real-life scoring examples to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
